Why was graphics design so darn expensive?
Doing it yourself was too time-consuming.
Hiring an in-house graphic designer was too expensive.
And outsourcing/freelancing was unreliable especially in other countries
Unsatisfied, we decided to solve it ourselves. The original side project was called “Pencil by 3pod”. It was a tool for designers and customers to communicate ideas and give feedback in real-time. Designs that used to take weeks, now took days, sometimes even hours. Pencil was a major success for us internally and for our local customers.
“Four years ago, Santiago Rojas original from Bolivia and Diego Sabogal from Colombia were sitting in various Starbucks in Atlanta and dreaming up plans they had for their marketing company, 3pod.”
Our small project was soon responsible for dramatically increasing our revenue, efficiency, and customer retention. One day, it occurred to us that others out there can use this solution. Thus…Pencil Unlimited was born and now is available for everybody.
